While the brand remains deeply rooted in its British heritage, the ownership structure evolved significantly in 2018. The Mead family sold the long-term rights to use the Yeo Valley brand for milk, butter, cheese, and yogurt to Arla Foods, a European dairy cooperative owned by farmers across several European countries. However, the Mead family continues to own and manage the physical production sites and the ‘Yeo Valley Organic’ business independently, maintaining a close partnership with Arla for distribution and marketing. Most products continue to be manufactured in the UK using British organic milk.
