Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the most iconic names in the Rhône Valley of France. Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, the brand has built a global reputation for high-quality wines, particularly from the Hermitage region. This specific Viognier is a 'Vin de France', showcasing the aromatic characteristics of white flowers and exotic notes typical of the varietal.

In 2006, the Frey family, who also own the prestigious Château La Lagune in Bordeaux and hold shares in Billecart-Salmon, acquired the estate. Under the direction of oenologist Caroline Frey, the vineyard transitioned toward organic and biodynamic viticulture. The product shown is bottled in La Roche-de-Glun, France, maintaining its deep-rooted French heritage while operating under the Frey family's modern stewardship.
