Azuga is a historic Romanian beer brand with a legacy dating back to 1870, originally founded in the mountain town of Azuga. The brand is renowned for its traditional brewing methods, particularly its unpasteurized (nepasteurizată) Märzen style beer which is crafted to maintain a rich, craft-like profile.

Today, the brand is part of the Ursus Breweries portfolio, which is the largest brewer in Romania. While the original brewery in Azuga closed years ago, the brand was revived and is now produced at Ursus Breweries' facilities in Romania. Since 2017, the brand and its local parent company have been owned by the Japanese conglomerate Asahi Group Holdings, which acquired several Eastern European brands from SABMiller. This structure combines local Romanian brewing heritage with the global distribution and quality standards of a major Japanese multinational corporation.
