Banvit is a prominent Turkish food brand established in 1968 in Bandırma, Turkey. Originally founded as a feed producer, the company transitioned into poultry production in 1984, becoming a market leader in Turkey's chicken and turkey meat sectors. The brand is well-regarded for its integrated 'farm-to-fork' production model, ensuring quality control from feed to final packaging.

In 2017, a major turning point occurred when the Brazilian food giant BRF S.A., in partnership with the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), acquired a majority stake in Banvit to strengthen its presence in the global halal market. By late 2025, following the strategic merger of BRF with Marfrig Global Foods, the brand became part of the newly formed MBRF Global Foods Company. This entity stands as one of the world's largest food processors, managing iconic brands across multiple continents while maintaining Banvit's core production facilities in Turkish provinces such as Bandırma, İzmir, and Elazığ.
