The Fiat Punto is a popular compact car originally designed by the Italian automaker Fiat. First introduced in 1993, it became one of Europe’s best-selling vehicles, known for its Italian style and efficiency.
Over its lifecycle, it was manufactured in several locations worldwide to meet regional demand, including the Betim plant in Brazil and the Melfi factory in Italy. Today, Fiat is part of Stellantis, a global automotive giant formed by the merger of PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). While the Punto model has been phased out in several markets, the brand continues to focus on hybrid and electric mobility under the Stellantis umbrella.
