Bucovina Plain Mineral Water

Bucovina is a renowned Romanian mineral water brand originating from the Vatra Dornei area in the Carpathian Mountains. The water is sourced from underground aquifers located in a protected natural perimeter, ensuring high purity and a balanced mineral content. It has long been a staple in the Romanian market and is recognized as the official water of the Romanian National Football Team.

Originally established as a local brand within Romania, Bucovina was acquired by the Polish group Maspex in 2016. Maspex is one of the largest food and beverage companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Today, while the water continues to be extracted and bottled at its source in the Bucovina region of Romania to maintain its geographical and qualitative integrity, the brand and its operations are managed under the strategic umbrella of Maspex’s Romanian subsidiary, Rio Bucovina.
