Walker's Shortbread is a globally recognised brand best known for its traditional Scottish shortbread. Founded in 1898 by Joseph Walker in Aberlour, Speyside, the company has grown into one of Scotland's most iconic exporters while remaining a family-owned business. The product featured is their Thistle Rounds, an all-butter shortbread biscuit decorated with the national flower of Scotland.
All Walker's products are manufactured in their bakeries in Aberlour and Elgin, located in the Speyside region of the Scottish Highlands. The brand is celebrated for using simple, high-quality ingredients and holds a Royal Warrant for the supply of shortbread to the British Royal Family. Unlike many global snack brands, Walker's has resisted acquisition and continues to be operated by the descendants of the original founder.
