Starting in 2015, the brand underwent a significant transition in ownership when Adam Foods was formed following the split of the Nutrexpa group. Historically, Cuétara was part of Sos Cuétara but was later acquired by Nutrexpa. Today, Adam Foods, based in Barcelona, Spain, manages the brand's production and identity across international markets. Most of their products are manufactured in their Spanish facilities, ensuring the traditional recipe and quality are maintained.
