Buxton Natural Mineral Water is one of the UK’s most iconic bottled water brands, originating from the town of Buxton in the Peak District, Derbyshire. The water is naturally filtered through ancient limestone layers before being bottled at the source. This natural process awards it a specific mineral composition that has been celebrated since the Roman era, though commercial bottling began significantly later in the 19th century.
Today, the brand is owned by Nestlé, the Swiss multinational food and beverage giant. It is managed under the Nestlé Waters division. All Buxton water is bottled at a state-of-the-art, sustainable facility in Waterswallows, Buxton, ensuring that the entire production process remains local to the source of the water. Nestlé has invested heavily in the region to maintain the brand's heritage while implementing modern environmental standards, such as 100% recyclable packaging.
