Bosto is a well-known Belgian rice brand that has been a staple in European kitchens for decades. Originally founded in Belgium, the brand built its reputation on providing high-quality, easy-to-prepare rice varieties, particularly its signature boil-in-bag (kookbuiltjes) products. While the raw Basmati rice is sourced from its traditional growing regions in the foothills of the Himalayas (India and Pakistan), the processing, specialized packaging into reinforced sachets, and distribution are centered in Belgium.

The brand was originally part of the Boost Nutrition company but is now owned by the Spanish multinational Ebro Foods. Ebro Foods is a global leader in the rice sector, managing a diverse portfolio of brands across various continents. This ownership allows Bosto to leverage a global supply chain while maintaining its local Belgian identity and manufacturing presence.
