Parodontax is a globally recognized oral care brand specialized in gum health. Originally developed by the German dentist Dr. Focke in 1937, the brand was initially focused on using mineral salts and herbal extracts to treat gum bleeding. Over decades, the brand became part of the SmithKline Beecham portfolio, which later merged into GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into a new independent company called Haleon plc. Today, Parodontax is one of Haleon's flagship brands. While the brand has historic German roots, it is now owned by the UK-based multinational Haleon. Production for the European market is primarily handled in large-scale manufacturing facilities in Slovakia (Levice) and Germany, ensuring high quality standards across the continent.
