LG smartphones were a flagship product line of LG Electronics, a major South Korean multinational conglomerate. Known for innovation in the mobile sector, LG was the first to introduce features like ultra-wide-angle cameras and high-fidelity audio DACs in consumer smartphones.

While the brand originated in South Korea, manufacturing was strategically distributed across various global locations to manage costs and export logistics. Over its lifetime, most production shifted from South Korea to Vietnam and China. In April 2021, LG Electronics officially announced its withdrawal from the smartphone market due to intense competition, though it continues to provide service support for existing devices for a limited period.

The LG brand remains a global leader in other sectors, particularly home appliances and home entertainment, under the stewardship of the LG Corporation, headquartered in Seoul.
