Milka is one of the world's most recognizable chocolate brands, easily identified by its signature lilac packaging and the 'Milka Cow'. The brand was originally created in Switzerland in 1901 by Philippe Suchard, whose confectionery legacy dates back to Neuchâtel in the early 19th century.
While the brand has Swiss roots, it is now part of the global portfolio of Mondelez International, an American multi-national food and beverage giant. Production today is decentralized across several European sites to meet global demand, with significant manufacturing facilities located in Lörrach, Germany, and several sites in Poland, where many of their biscuit and cake products like the Choco Trio are originated.
