Yodel is a prominent UK-based parcel delivery company that handles millions of deliveries every week. The service originated as Home Delivery Network (HDNL) before acquiring the B2B and B2C operations of DHL Express UK, which led to the rebranding as Yodel in 2010.

Historically owned by the Barclay family via the Shop Direct Group, the company underwent a major ownership change in early 2024. It was acquired by YDLGP Limited, a consortium led by the owners of the logistics firm Shift and backed by Solano Partners. This move was intended to stabilize the company and integrate it into a broader digital logistics network, ensuring its continued operation as a major challenger to Royal Mail and other private couriers in the British market.
