Daddy is an iconic French sugar brand established in 1981 by the Sucre Union cooperative. It quickly became famous in France for its distinctive pink packaging and creative advertising campaigns, transforming sugar from a basic commodity into a recognizable consumer brand.
Today, Daddy is the flagship brand of Cristal Union, one of Europe's leading agro-industrial cooperative groups. The sugar is primarily produced from sugar beets grown by thousands of cooperative farmers across France. Manufacturing and packaging take place at various industrial sites in France, such as the Bazancourt facility. The brand has recently focused on sustainability, introducing recyclable paper-based containers to significantly reduce plastic usage.
