Kandit Chocolate

Kandit is a prominent Croatian confectionery brand with a history dating back to the early 20th century. Established in Osijek, Croatia, the brand has become one of the region's most recognizable names in chocolate and sugar confectionery production. Over the decades, it has expanded its portfolio to include premium chocolate bars, cooking chocolates, and various sweets known for their traditional recipes and local appeal.

In 2011, Kandit underwent a significant change in ownership when it was acquired by the Mepas Group, a large conglomerate based in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This acquisition led to substantial investments in modernizing production facilities in Osijek, ensuring that the brand remains competitive within the European market. Today, Kandit continues to manufacture its products in its state-of-the-art factory in Croatia, serving both the local market and exporting to neighboring countries in Southeast Europe.
