Arnott's Lemon Crisp is a classic Australian cream-filled biscuit consisting of two salty, crisp crackers sandwiching a tangy lemon cream filling. The brand is one of the most iconic names in the Australian food landscape, recognized globally by its colorful parrot logo.
While Arnott's was founded and established as a household name in Australia, the company has undergone several changes in corporate ownership over the decades. It was previously owned by the American food giant Campbell Soup Company for several years.
Starting in late 2019 and moving into the mid-2020s, the brand transitioned to the ownership of KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts), a global investment firm. Despite changes in high-level corporate ownership, Arnott's continues to manufacture the vast majority of its core biscuit range, including Lemon Crisp, within Australia at its major bakeries in Sydney, Brisbane, and Adelaide.
