The Natural Confectionery Co. (TNCC) is a popular confectionery brand that originated in Australia in 1991 when it was founded under the Sunrise Confectioners banner. The brand differentiated itself by focusing on jelly sweets produced without artificial colours or flavours, a positioning that helped it grow rapidly within the Australian and New Zealand markets.
In 2003, the brand was acquired by Cadbury Schweppes, which further expanded its international reach, particularly into the United Kingdom. Today, the brand is owned by Mondelez International, the multinational snack food titan that was spun off from Kraft Foods in 2012. While TNCC products are sold globally, those sold in the Australian market are primarily manufactured locally in Australia, continuing the brand's heritage as an Australian-born household staple.
