Panadol is one of the world's most recognized over-the-counter pain relief brands, specializing in paracetamol-based products. Originally introduced in the 1950s by Sterling-Winthrop in the United Kingdom, the brand has grown into a global household name. It is particularly known for its various formulations, such as the 'Rapid' version shown here, which is designed for faster absorption.
Following a series of corporate acquisitions and mergers, Panadol was long managed by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare division into a new independent company called Haleon. Today, Haleon is the ultimate owner of Panadol, operating as a dedicated consumer health powerhouse headquartered in the United Kingdom. Manufacturing occurs in several high-standard pharmaceutical facilities across the globe, including locations in Europe and Asia, to supply different regional markets.
