Bucovina is a leading brand of premium mineral water originating from the protected underground sources of the Vatra Dornei area in the Carpathian Mountains, Romania. The brand is highly regarded for its purity and low mineral content, making it a popular choice for daily hydration and infant consumption.
While originally a local Romanian enterprise, the brand's ownership has evolved through international acquisitions. For several years, it was part of the Rio Bucovina portfolio until the brand was acquired by the Maspex Group. Maspex, a major Polish multinational, has integrated Bucovina into its extensive beverage and food division, utilizing its logistics network to maintain Bucovina's position as a market leader in South-Eastern Europe.
Today, Bucovina continues to be bottled exclusively at its source in Romania to maintain its natural properties. It is owned by Maspex, which is headquartered in Wadowice, Poland, and operates as one of the largest private food companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
