Raey is an exclusive in-house brand launched by the luxury fashion retailer MatchesFashion. Known for its minimalist aesthetic, androgynous silhouettes, and high-quality fabrics, the brand focuses on 'natural' luxury through its use of cashmere, silk, and raw denim. The brand's design team is primarily based in London, while a significant portion of its production is handled in high-end garment factories across Italy and the UK.

In recent years, the ownership of Raey has undergone significant shifts due to the acquisition of its parent company, MatchesFashion. After being owned by the investment firm Apax Partners, the brand was acquired by Frasers Group in late 2023. However, following the local insolvency of Matches, the intellectual property and brand assets remain under the umbrella of the Frasers Group, which is a major British retail conglomerate.
