The company was founded by Angus and Kathleen Wielkopolski more than 30 years ago, starting as a small farm operation and growing into a national commercial leader in the dairy goat industry. In 2013, the business was acquired by the Kavli Group. Under Kavli's ownership, the brand has continued to operate from its site at Seaton Ross, near York, where it processes milk from several British goat farms. The brand is synonymous with high-quality goat dairy and serves as a major alternative for consumers with sensitivities to cow's milk.
