Founded in 1967 in Saltillo, Mexico, it has grown from a regional manufacturer to an international competitor in the construction materials sector. In early 2023, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by Mohawk Industries, the largest flooring manufacturer in the world. This acquisition included its manufacturing facilities in Mexico and its distribution networks in the United States, effectively integrating Vitromex into Mohawk's global portfolio under its Dal-Tile business unit. Today, Vitromex continues to serve the North American market through a combination of high-quality Mexican manufacturing and extensive US logistics.
