Sprite lemonade

Sprite is a globally recognized lemon-lime flavored soft drink. It was originally developed in West Germany in 1959 as 'Fanta Klare Zitrone' and was later introduced to the United States market in 1961 by The Coca-Cola Company as a competitor to 7 Up.

Technically, while the brand's recipes and marketing are headquartered in the United States, the physical production of Sprite is highly localized. In the German market, the beverage is produced and bottled by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Deutschland GmbH, which operates numerous bottling plants across the country to ensure regional supply chains and sustainability. The ultimate ownership remains with The Coca-Cola Company, based in Atlanta, Georgia, which continues to manage the brand's global identity and formula standards through the 2020s and beyond.
