Today, the brand's manufacturing is diversified, taking place across several countries—predominantly in Asia, including China and Vietnam—to cater to a broad mass-market audience. This shift occurred after the brand transitioned from a niche technical manufacturer to a high-volume retailer under new ownership.

While its heritage is deeply rooted in Lancashire, England, the brand is currently owned by the Frasers Group. Since the acquisition, Karrimor has expanded its product range to include everything from budget-friendly hiking boots to running gear, maintaining a dominant presence in sporting goods retail chains across the United Kingdom and internationally.
