Disney+ Streaming Service

Disney+ is a global subscription-based video-on-demand streaming service owned and managed by The Walt Disney Company. Launched in 2019, it originated in the United States as a primary platform for content from Disney's various entertainment studios, including Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

The service is developed by Disney Streaming, a subsidiary formerly known as BAMTech. While the service is accessed globally, its technical infrastructure and corporate management are primarily rooted in the United States, although it localized through various regional subsidiaries. In Latin American markets like Mexico, it is operated directly through Disney's regional segments, providing localized content and interfaces.
