Clover Hill is one of Australia's premier sparkling wine producers, specializing in the traditional Méthode Tasmanoise. Established in 1986 on the site of an old dairy farm in Lebrina, Tasmania, the estate was chosen for its similarity to the Champagne region in France, featuring cool climates and rich volcanic soils ideal for Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes.
The brand has grown from its first vintage in 1991 to become a benchmark for Australian sparkling wine. It is manufactured and bottled on-site in Tasmania, ensuring local craftsmanship and quality control. The brand remains an integral part of the Taltarni and Clover Hill group, continuing to represent the excellence of Tasmanian viticulture on the global stage.
Ownership of Clover Hill is held by the Goelet family through their company, Taltarni Vineyards. The Goelets, an American family with deep roots in international viticulture, also own Clos du Val in Napa Valley and Domaine de Nages in France, maintaining a portfolio of high-end estates focused on terroir-driven winemaking.
