Olde Thompson Paprika

Olde Thompson is a historic American brand recognized as one of the world's largest spice and seasoning manufacturers. Originally established in California in 1944, the brand built its reputation on high-quality salt and pepper mills before expanding into a massive range of dry spices, seasoning blends, and gourmet food products.

While the company operates a large state-of-the-art facility in Oxnard, California, for processing, blending, and distribution, spices like paprika are often harvested globally (from regions such as Hungary, Spain, or Peru) and then refined in the United States. In 2021, Olde Thompson was acquired by Olam Food Ingredients (ofi), a global leader in natural food and beverage ingredients. This acquisition integrated Olde Thompson into a massive global supply chain headquartered in Singapore, ensuring direct access to spice sources worldwide while maintaining its primary American production and distribution hub.
