Beavertown Brewery is a well-known British craft beer brand that rose to prominence in the early 2010s. The brand was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant, in the kitchen of Duke's Brew and Que in De Beauvoir Town, London (the source of the 'Beavertown' name). It quickly became a staple of the UK craft beer scene, with its 'Neck Oil' Session IPA becoming its most recognizable core product.
While the brand started as a small independent operation, its manufacturing capacity expanded significantly over the years. Following a minority investment in 2018, the company eventually was fully acquired by Heineken N.V. in 2022. Today, while much of the primary production for the UK market takes place at their dedicated 'Beaverworld' facility in Enfield, London, being part of the Heineken portfolio allows for broader distribution and potential regional production through Heineken's international network. The brand remains headquarterd in London under the ultimate ownership of the Dutch brewing giant.
