Pringles is an internationally recognized brand of stackable potato-based crisps, originally developed by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the 1960s. The brand was created to solve consumer complaints about broken, greasy, and stale chips, resulting in the iconic hyperbolic paraboloid shape that allows the crisps to be stacked perfectly in a cylindrical can.

In 2012, the Kellogg Company (now Kellanova) acquired Pringles from P&G, making it one of the largest snack brands in the world. Today, Pringles are produced in several high-tech manufacturing facilities located across the United States, Belgium, Malaysia, Poland, and China to serve various international markets.

Following the 2023 corporate split of the Kellogg Company into two separate entities, the Pringles brand became part of Kellanova, which manages the global snacking, international cereal, and North American frozen foods businesses. The brand remains headquartered in the United States while maintaining a massive global footprint and distribution network.
