Colman's is one of Britain's oldest and most iconic food brands, founded by Jeremiah Colman in 1814 in Norwich. While primarily famous for its mustard, Colman's also produces a variety of other condiments including this Mint Sauce, which is famously made with mint grown in Norfolk, England.
In 1995, the brand was acquired by the multinational consumer goods giant Unilever. While production of the mustard powders and some mint processing remains deeply linked to its Norfolk roots through local farming partnerships, most of the liquid sauce production moved to other sites in the UK following the closure of the historic Carrow Works factory in 2020. Today, Unilever continues to own and manage Colman's as a flagship brand within its global food and refreshment portfolio.
