Piasten Schoko Linsen are a classic German confectionery product consisting of peppermint-flavored chocolate lentils coated in a crisp sugar shell. The brand has a deep-rooted history in the German sweets market, particularly known for its dragée products and pralines.
Originally founded in Brzeg (Brieg) in 1923, the company relocated to Forchheim, Bavaria, following World War II, where it established its modern headquarters. In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the brand underwent ownership changes, eventually becoming part of the Krüger Group in 2014. Despite these changes, the manufacturing remains primarily centered in Germany, maintaining the traditional recipes that have made Piasten a household name in the DACH region.
