Twizzlers Nibs are a bite-sized variation of the classic Twizzlers licorice-style candy. Known for their chewy texture and fruit flavoring, Nibs were developed under the Twizzlers brand umbrella, which has been a staple of the American confectionery market for over a century. Unlike the traditional long twists, Nibs are small chunks designed for easy snacking.
The Twizzlers brand traces its roots back to 1845 with the establishment of Young & Smylie, which eventually became part of Y&S Candies. Today, the brand is owned and manufactured by The Hershey Company. While the candy is predominantly manufactured in the United States, specifically at Hershey's facilities in Pennsylvania, significant production also takes place in Canada to supply the North American market. As a subsidiary of one of the world's largest chocolate manufacturers, Twizzlers Nibs benefit from a global distribution network and a deep-rooted history in American snack culture.
