Since its acquisition in 1955, the brand has been a key part of the L'Oréal Group's Active Cosmetics division. It is marketed as a derma-cosmetic brand, blending medical expertise with cosmetic pleasure to address various skin concerns. Most production still takes place in the Vichy region of France at the cosmétique active internationale factory.
