The brand was born from a desire to create high-quality, durable, and affordable outdoor gear that fits well and looks stylish. Headquartered in Borås, Sweden, the company operates primarily as a direct-to-consumer digital brand, selling its products exclusively through its own webshops to maintain a competitive price point. While the design and development processes take place in Sweden, the manufacturing is outsourced to various global locations, primarily in Asia (such as Vietnam and China) and parts of Europe, adhering to strict quality standards. After a period of significant growth and private equity investment by Altor Equity Partners, the company went public on the Nasdaq Stockholm in 2021.
