Launched in 2003 by the Yıldız Holding group, Cola Turka was introduced as a domestic alternative to global beverage giants in the Turkish market. It gained immediate popularity through high-profile marketing campaigns that emphasized local identity and cultural values. The product is primarily produced in Turkey to serve the Middle Eastern and European export markets.
In 2015, a significant transition occurred when Yıldız Holding sold a majority stake of its beverage business, including Cola Turka, to the Japanese beverage giant DyDo Group Holdings. Today, while it retains its Turkish heritage and branding, the ultimate ownership lies with DyDo DRINCO, which has integrated the brand into its global portfolio through its Turkish subsidiary, DyDo Drinco Turkey.
