La Chouffe Blonde beer

La Chouffe is a renowned Belgian strong blonde ale produced by Brasserie d'Achouffe, located in the village of Achouffe in the Ardennes mountains. The brand was founded in 1982 by brothers-in-law Pierre Gobron and Christian Bauweraerts, who began small-scale brewing as a hobby before it grew into a globally recognized label famous for its gnome-themed branding and high-quality craft beers.

In 2006, the brewery was acquired by the Duvel Moortgat Brewery group, an independent, family-owned brewery headquartered in Puurs, Belgium. Since then, Duvel Moortgat has expanded the brand's international presence while maintaining the traditional production site in Achouffe. The beer is characterized by its fruity, spicy flavor profile and is still primarily brewed in Belgium for distribution across the world.
