Blendax Toothpaste

Blendax is a historic oral hygiene brand with roots dating back to the early 20th century in Germany. Originally founded in Mainz, the brand became famous for its toothbrush and toothpaste formulations, eventually growing into one of Europe's leading hygiene names. During the mid-20th century, Blendax was a significant independent manufacturer before it attracted the attention of global consumer goods conglomerates.

In 1987, the brand was acquired by Procter & Gamble, which integrated Blendax's research and development—including the creation of the 'Blend-a-med' line—into its global portfolio. However, as part of strategic shifts in the 2010s, Procter & Gamble divested several of its smaller or regional brands. Today, the brand is owned by the London-based consumer healthcare giant Haleon (formerly GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare), which continues to distribute the product in various international markets, particularly in Eastern Europe and Turkey. Manufacturing primarily occurs in regional hubs across Europe and Asia to meet local demand.
