Colnago Road Bike

Colnago is a premier Italian manufacturer of high-end road racing bicycles. Founded in Cambiago, Italy, in 1952 by Ernesto Colnago, the brand has become synonymous with cycling excellence, having sponsored countless professional teams and champions like Eddy Merckx and Tadej Pogačar.

Historically, all Colnago frames were crafted in Italy. Today, while the company maintains its research and development headquarters in Cambiago, manufacturing is split. The legendary 'C series' (such as the C68) continues to be handmade in Italy, while other carbon fiber models are professionally manufactured in Taiwan to meet global demand and technical specifications.

In 2020, a majority stake in Colnago was acquired by Chimera Investments LLC, an investment group based in Abu Dhabi. This partnership has significantly bolstered the brand's presence in the professional cycling circuit and ensured its continued leadership in high-performance bicycle technology.
