Appletiser is a premium sparkling fruit juice brand known globally for its '100% sparkling apple juice' signature product. It was originally created in 1966 by Edmond Lombardi in the Elgin Valley of the Western Cape, South Africa. The product was unique at its launch for containing no added sugar or preservatives, relying solely on a carbonated blend of apple concentrate.

Over the decades, the brand expanded from its South African roots to become a household name in the United Kingdom and other international markets. Today, manufacturing occurs in several locations worldwide to satisfy regional demand, including facilities in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

In terms of ownership, the brand's trajectory moved from local South African control under SABMiller to global oversight. Following the massive merger between Anheuser-Busch InBev and SABMiller, a deal was reached for Coca-Cola to acquire the brand. It is now a key part of The Coca-Cola Company’s global stills and sparkling juice portfolio, managed through various regional subsidiaries.
