Cedar Valley is a Canadian success story that began as a high school business project in 2014. Founded by Ameen Fadel when he was just 16 years old, the brand was inspired by a unique family recipe for Fattoush salad dressing passed down by his mother. After receiving a grant from the Ontario government, the business evolved from local farmer's market sales into a national brand known for its non-GMO pita chips cooked in coconut oil.
The brand is headquartered and produces its snacks in Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada. While it started as a small family-run operation, Cedar Valley gained significant momentum after appearing on the Canadian television show Dragon’s Den, where it secured investment to scale production. Today, the brand remains a family-driven enterprise with Ameen Fadel serving as the lead entrepreneur, focusing on providing high-quality, preservative-free snacks to North American consumers.
