The Lucifer Chocolate brand traces its beginnings back to 2007, when a love of chocolate and a desire to create unique confections grew beyond a hobby that had long inspired the company’s founder and creative director, Luč Žgank. Even at that time, the excellence and originality of his products were well recognised locally, but enthusiasm soon spread far beyond the Velenje valley.

In 2009, the chocolate workshop moved to larger, more advanced production facilities, and a café with an in-store shop opened alongside it. For many years now, Lucifer chocolate treats have also been available through an online store, in numerous retail outlets across Slovenia, and abroad. We are present in neighbouring Italy, Austria and Croatia, as well as in Switzerland and Romania — and even in more distant markets such as the United States, China and Japan.
