Stimorol is a globally recognized brand of chewing gum that has been a staple in the confectionery market for decades. The brand was originally created in Denmark in 1915 by Holger Sørensen and his company, Dandy. It gained significant popularity in Northern Europe before expanding its footprint across the globe with its iconic flavors and long-lasting freshness.
Over the years, the ownership of Stimorol has transitioned through several major food and beverage conglomerates. Cadbury-Schweppes acquired the brand in 2002, which later became part of Kraft Foods following their acquisition of Cadbury. Kraft Foods eventually split into two entities, placing Stimorol under the umbrella of Mondelez International. In early 2023, Mondelez International finalized the sale of its developed-market gum business, including the Stimorol brand, to the Perfetti Van Melle Group. Today, Stimorol is managed by this Italian-Dutch multinational, which produces the gum in various facilities across Europe and other regions to meet international demand.
