Morrisons Cranberry & Raspberry Juice Drink is a private-label beverage produced for the British supermarket chain Morrisons. As a store-brand product, it is specifically formulated to meet the retailer's standards for quality and value, featuring no added sugar and no artificial colors or flavors.
The Morrisons brand originated in Bradford, West Yorkshire, in 1899, starting as an egg and butter stall. Over the decades, it evolved into one of the 'Big Four' supermarkets in the United Kingdom. Most Morrisons own-brand products are manufactured within the UK, leveraging the company's extensive internal food production and manufacturing capabilities, which distinguish it from many other major retailers.
In 2021, the company underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the American private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R). Despite this change in ultimate ownership to a United States-based firm, Morrisons maintains its operational headquarters in Bradford and continues to focus on its identity as a British retailer with a strong commitment to local sourcing and domestic manufacturing.
