Água de Luso mineral water

Água de Luso is one of Portugal's most iconic and prestigious mineral water brands. Originating from the Luso Thermal Station in the Serra do Bussaco, its history dates back to 1852 when the thermal properties of the spring were first gaining national recognition. The water is filtered through the quartzite rocks of the mountain range, resulting in its characteristic purity and low mineralization.

Today, the brand is part of Sociedade da Água de Luso, which is owned by Central de Cervejas e Bebidas (SCC). Since 2008, SCC has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of the HEINEKEN Group. Despite its international ownership, the production remains deeply rooted in the Luso region of Portugal, where the bottling facilities are located to preserve the natural properties of the spring water. It remains a market leader in the Portuguese bottled water sector.
