HAK Linsen (Lentils) are a premium plant-based protein source packaged in a convenient stand-up pouch. The HAK brand is a historic Dutch company established in Giessen by the Hak family, originally starting as a vegetable and fruit trading business before moving into preserving crops in glass jars. The brand is well-known for its 'Groenten van Hak' (Vegetables from Hak) campaign and its commitment to local sourcing and natural preservation methods.

While the lentils themselves may be sourced globally depending on seasonal availability and quality, the processing and packaging take place in the Netherlands. Today, HAK is owned by the KKR-backed holding company, Premium Food Holding (part of the larger Neerlands Glorie group), following its acquisition of the company to expand its portfolio of sustainable, plant-based food products. The brand remains a leader in the Northern European market for processed vegetables and pulses.
