Lipton is one of the world's most recognizable tea brands, originally established in Scotland in the late 19th century. Today, the brand is managed through complex global partnerships that separate the production of tea leaves from the production of bottled beverages.

The bottled "Ready-to-Drink" (RTD) iced tea version shown in the image is typically produced through Pepsi Lipton International, a joint venture between PepsiCo and Unilever. This partnership allows Lipton to utilize PepsiCo's massive bottling and distribution network worldwide. Consequently, the product is manufactured in multiple countries across Europe, North America, and beyond, depending on the local market.

While the Lipton dry tea business was largely sold to CVC Capital Partners (renamed Lipstone), the bottled tea venture remains a partnership between PepsiCo and Unilever, with headquarters based in Purchase, New York (PepsiCo) and London, UK (Unilever).
