While the brand originated in Canada, its manufacturing operations are heavily concentrated in the United States and other global facilities to meet international demand.

In 2016, a significant majority stake of Iovate Health Sciences was acquired by the Chinese company Xiwang Foodstuffs. This transition brought the brand under global ownership while maintaining its operational and distribution hubs in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
