Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% is a premium non-alcoholic lager that maintains the crisp, refreshing character of the original Italian icon. Originally founded in Vigevano, Italy, in 1846 by Francesco Peroni, the brand became a global symbol of Italian style and craftsmanship. The Nastro Azzurro specific line was launched in 1963, named after the 'Blue Ribbon' prize won by the Italian liner Rex.
Today, the brand is produced primarily in Italy at breweries located in Rome, Bari, and Padova, ensuring its authentic heritage is preserved. While it started as a family-run business and later became part of SABMiller, it is currently owned by the Japanese beverage giant Asahi Group Holdings. This acquisition has allowed Peroni to expand its global footprint while maintaining its status as Italy's most recognized beer brand.
