Milka is an iconic confectionery brand that originated in Switzerland in 1901, founded by Philippe Suchard. Known for its distinctive lilac packaging and Alpine milk heritage, the brand has evolved from simple chocolate bars to a wide range of snacks, including the Pieguski Choco Cookies shown here.
Today, Milka is produced in several locations across Europe to meet global demand, with major manufacturing facilities in Germany, Poland, and Austria. The brand's ownership has transitioned through several major corporate mergers; it was once part of Suchard-Tobler and later Kraft Foods. Since the 2012 spin-off of Kraft's snack division, Milka has been owned and managed by Mondelez International, a major American multinational food conglomerate headquartered in Chicago. This global scale allows Milka products to maintain their high-quality standards while being distributed across more than 40 countries worldwide.
